While the East Carolina Pirates golf bag pictured is certainly more than adequate for golfers walking nine holes unlike other options this particular design was made for players who ride a golf cart most of the time. The difference between the two types of designs is that the cart style is generally bigger and more durable while also offering more features and storage space in terms of pockets and other things of that nature. The walking ECU Pirates golf bag choices on the other hand are lighter in terms of weight and have different features that are in some ways superior like the dual straps that are almost always on walking bags. The dual strap system that is occasionally referred to as the x-strap or Izzo dual strap system offer a way to reduce the stress of carrying around heavy golf clubs for several hours at a time often under the hot sun.
